Graduate Program Coordinator

Carolyn Auvil is responsible for all graduate student recruitment, marketing, and admissions processing at Albers. She organizes bi-monthly information sessions for Albers' graduate programs and has received/heard of every conceivable question about MSBA and MSAA!

Auvil earned her bachelor's degree in Cultural and Biological Anthropology at the University of Oregon.

MSBA Program Director

Nathan Colaner has been the Program Director of Albers' Business Analytics program since 2020. He is also the Managing Director of Seattle University's Initiative in Ethics and Transformative Technologies as well as a Senior Instructor of Management.

Jonathan Burns is a full-time online MSBA student who is a Senior Business Analyst at real estate investment trust company Weyerhaeuser. He holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A & M University.

Dr. 'Chips' Chipalkatti is the chair of Albers' Department of Accounting and the David E. Tinius Endowed Professor in Accounting, 2020-23. He has taught various accounting courses for both grad and undergrad students throughout the years, presented research findings at conferences, and has had his work published in various journals. Dr. Chipalkatti is also an accounting advisor for Entomo, a software firm that is a leader in sell-through revenue recognition solutions.

J. McLean Sloughter is professor in the Mathematics Department and the Program Director for the MS in Data Science program. Prof. Sloughter has been on faculty at Seattle University since 2009.
