Bachelor of Social Work

BSW-Cohort-2019

Social Work is one of the most dynamic, versatile, and rewarding professions in today’s world. It is the fastest growing as well! Overall employment of social workers is projected to grow between 2012-2022, faster than all other occupations in the US (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

At Seattle University, you will gain the knowledge and skills to effectively collaborate, advocate, and assist people of all ages and from diverse communities.

The Social Work program, culminating in a BSW degree, offers:

  • Strong 70 credit curriculum with intensive practical training
  • Small class sizes and accessible professors
  • Cohort-based program
  • Direct practice experience in the field two days a week during senior year under the supervision of an experienced social worker
  • Fully accredited program by the Council of Social Work Education.

BSW graduates may apply to Seattle University’s Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Program.
