The Strategic Action Committee on Academic Excellence, including faculty, staff and students, is responsible for implementing the College of Arts and Sciences strategic plan, addressing more than 20 target initiatives that directly support the University's Strategic Directions while focusing our efforts on specific areas of strength and growth for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Global Education

Our goal is that every Arts & Sciences student has some opportunity to interact with a global experience, either domestically or abroad. The Education Abroad Office serves as a central resource to students seeking study abroad. Our annual “Imagining the World” international photo competition encourages students to engage actively with new people and cultures and share a very personal window into the world they explore. We provide ethical guidelines to help ensure that the human rights and dignity of persons with whom they engage while documenting their unique experiences.
