The Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics affords maximum flexibility to students. The program contains a wide variety of electives so students can customize their program to suit their career goals or pursue a second major or minor. The BA program is suitable for students planning to teach secondary mathematics or enter a graduate professional program.
For incoming freshman, the Bachelor of Arts program includes an optional specialization in Humanities for Teaching.
We have such a great depth of human history in all of the arts, whether it's opera or mathematics or painting or classical music or jazz. There's so many things to study, new books to read, and certainly always ways to transform old ideas and to come up with new ones.
