SMART Fridays

SMART Friday attendees wear owl masks at a talk about owls and computational neuroscience

S.M.A.R.T. Fridays are a series of informal student-led talks and discussions about current research work being done by math students here at Seattle University. They are generally held once a month during the school year. These talks provide a great opportunity to find out about the variety of research opportunities in math available to students at Seattle U. They also give students a chance to learn about topics beyond what they might find in the classroom. Posters announcing the speakers and locations will be distributed around the department. Please contact organizer McLean Slougther ( for dates and other details.
