Meet New Math Club President Erick Lake!

Hello, Math Club! My name is Erick and I am proud to be your President this year. I am a second-year student majoring in History and International Studies, with a minor in Arabic. I am from the Portland, Oregon area, but am now happy to call Seattle home. My hobbies include literature, film, music, and hiking, and I am always up for a game of chess, a hand or two of poker, or a board game. I look forward to a great year in Math Club, where I hope to continue our regularly scheduled game nights, expand the scope and responsibilities of our club and officers, and introduce new members.

Game Nights

We have Game Nights every Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in ENGR 416. These immediately follow the colloquium talks and thus also serve as a great opportunity to meet and talk to the speakers. Snacks, warm drinks, and fun games are provided.

For More Event Info

If you would like to keep updated on our latest events, please send Math Club President Erick Lake (lakeerick@seattleu.edu) your email address, so we can add you to our distribution list. We send emails about once a week with info about the math talks before our events and any fun activities we are planning.
