Teresa Blanco is the Vice President of Supply Chain responsible for Global Field Operations and Structures Procurement. She was named to this new position in July 2023. Prior to this assignment she was the Vice President of Supply Chain Rate Readiness. Prior to her VP assignment, she was the One Boeing Production System (BPS) leader for BCA Fabrication, 737 Program and served as the Sheffield Executive site leader. Before joining the BPS team, Blanco served as the Director of Global Field Operations with responsibility for North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Russia and Israel. As part of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, & Operations’ (MSC&O) Supply Chain Delivery & Performance team, Blanco’s team is tasked with ensuring stable supply chain operations to support Boeing’s production system. Prior to her time in MSC&O, Blanco was the senior manager for Operations and Supply Chain at the Electrical Services Responsibility Center (ESRC), part of Boeing Fabrication. Before being named to that position, Blanco was the Senior Manager leading the Structures Japan Operations Procurement teams where she had responsibility for supplier performance and production readiness. Blanco also led the Japan Field Operations teams for Kawasaki, Subaru and Nippi, as well as operational performance for Systems and Interiors suppliers. During her time in Japan, she also led 787 Embedded Cost Reduction teams in Japan and Korea. Prior to her international assignment, Blanco was the Interiors Operations and Contracts manager for Boeing Commercial Airplanes Supplier Management, leading a team responsible for contracting, daily program management, operational performance and development of commodity and supplier strategies. Blanco joined Boeing in 2006 as a Finance analyst for the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) Business Planning team, part of Boeing Fabrication. Teresa has a passion for community engagement and mentoring individuals in underrepresented groups and opportunities within STEM and Production environments. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Neighborhood House and mentors students at Seattle Universities Albers School of Business. Teresa also serves as the President for the Boeing Leadership Network (BLN).

Students can expect a very open and transparent mentor. I have had multiple roles both domestic and international and can provide many perspectives and share experiences. My expectations is the mentees be actively engaged in our mentor-mentee relationship. We have a lot to learn from each other.

Flexible. Late afternoons preferable. Between Seattle and Snohomish.

Additional Information

I am a mother of four children (Jomary 22, Christopher 14, Brielle 12, and Caiden 1 month) and am the first in my family to go to college. I have a deep passion for driving to a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce. I am a founding member of Boeing's first Racial Equity Task Force.
