Job Description

As Director of Global Trade Compliance, I am responsible for developing and driving global and regional strategy, operational excellence, and trade compliance best practices globally. I manage the information technology (IT) solutions and strategy to develop a global trade management platform for global trade operations and trade compliance. I am responsible for increasing the business’ predictability and visibility of regulatory consequences and opportunities to minimize trade costs while maintaining a best-in-class compliance program. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to lead integrating trade compliance into the business cycle from design to product fulfillment to serve as an in-house resource and ensure internal customs controls and procedures are efficient and compliant. I stay connected with customs and industry associations to be current with global best practices as well as with the laws and regulations of the countries in which Brooks Sports operates.
