Microsoft TEALS Program: the Technology Education and Learning Support (TEALS) is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that builds sustainable computer science (CS) programs in high schools. We focus on serving students excluded from learning CS because of race, gender, or geography. TEALS helps teachers learn to teach CS by pairing them with industry volunteers and proven curricula. As TEALS West Regional Lead, I manage a team of 9 regional managers and 1 program assistant that execute the TEALS Program matching high school teachers and tech professionals to co-teach CS education courses in the school district/community. The TEALS West Region includes: Washington, Oregon, California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
