Mentoring Objectives & Scope
As a mentor in the field of Data and Business Analytics for college students, my primary objective is to empower and guide aspiring professionals in their journey to become proficient data analysts and business strategists. My mentoring scope encompasses a range of areas, starting with providing fundamental knowledge of data analysis tools, programming languages, and statistical methods. I aim to instill problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities, allowing mentees to tackle real-world challenges confidently. Additionally, I will assist them in developing strong communication and presentation skills, enabling them to effectively convey insights and recommendations. Throughout the mentorship, I will encourage students to undertake practical projects and gain hands-on experience with real datasets. Moreover, I will introduce them to industry best practices and trends, preparing them to excel in a competitive job market and make valuable contributions to the data-driven business landscape. I am a highly motivated young professional with over 3 years of experience and a recent master’s degree in Information Systems, as well as a graduate certification in Data Analytics. My expertise includes hands-on experience in SQL, data science, data analytics/analysis, and data visualization. I am adept at managing database programs, extracting and evaluating sophisticated data, and translating results into understandable terms to inform strategic business planning and facilitate improved operations. I have been instrumental in analyzing and managing large-scale database applications and generating strategic reports and data analyses to propel business success. Additionally, I possess strong exposure to business and data analysis, metadata management services, and configuration management. In addition to my professional interests, I have a passion for sports and travel. I enjoy playing FIFA on PS5 and have a keen interest in photography. I used to be into fashion photography, but I have recently switched to travel photography as I love to travel. Moreover, I have also started weightlifting, and although I have mixed feelings about it, I am quite enjoying the experience.
