Quarterly the Brady Battalion goes on field training exercises at JBLM to improve their Army readiness.

From 09MAY-11-MAY, Brady Battalion conducted a Joint Field Training Exercise (JFTX) with the University of Washington’s Kinnear Husky Battalion. Cadets conducted practical exercises and utilized hands-on experience to improve their Warrior Skills in preparation for Cadet Summer Training.

Additionally, Cadets conducted a day and night land navigation course, with 7 points to find to improve map reading abilities and land navigation skills. Finally, Cadets conducted Situational Training Exercise (STX) lanes to prepare MS3 Cadets for leadership positions at Advanced Camp, as well as improve tactical skills and provide experience for the MS1s and MS2s during missions for future operations.
