Biography

Dr. Lopuch has over a decade of higher education experience teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs designed for the working professional.  She comes to EOLL from NCS, where she was instructor and program director for the Organizational Leadership BA program. Before that, she held a similar role at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.  A skilled communicator, she incorporates a strengths-based mentoring and coaching approach in her teaching.

Dr. Lopuch brings expertise in adult learning principles, identity and experience, organizational culture and learning organizations to her new role, along with a broad organizational perspective gained from a 27-year career at IBM. There, she held roles in corporate finance, field sales, software services, and cost and inventory operations for IBM Poughkeepsie’s large scale computer manufacturing division. She is co-author of two book chapters on diversity and learning organizations, has presented at national and international conferences, and published a dissertation on the adult undergraduate experience.  Her current research is aimed at uncovering the implications of digital technology on management consulting and coaching.

Dr. Lopuch is also founder of Lopuch Consulting, a leadership & learning development practice. She holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is an active member of the ICF Washington state chapter, serving as a mentor coach to new members, and providing pro-bono coaching for organizations including King County Public Health, University of Washington Bothell, Women in Cloud (WIC) and Women in Construction.

Additional coaching certifications include Clifton Strengths, EQi-2.0/360, Energy Leadership Index (ELI) and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) instruments. In addition to administering and interpreting behavioral assessments for individuals and teams, she also provides one-on-one leadership coaching and team workshops on related topics. Organizations she has worked with include Sanford Institute of Philanthropy, Fujisan Marketing, Northeastern University and the Center for Community Engagement at SU.
