6 years at AIM Consulting - moving up the ranks from Lead Consultant to Principal to Director of Enterprise Delivery and Transformation during that time.

18 years at AT&T, Cingular, and AT&T Wireless - started in mergers & acquisitions, moved to marketing, then the CTO organization. Ended my career as a Director in the Technology Development organization leading a team of 95 employees.

Education

MBA - City University
BA in Psychology - University of Puget Sound

Mentoring Objectives & Scope

I hope that I am able to help a student understand their superpower - that part of them that is unique, that drives them, and that comes naturally. Tap into that, lean into it, and the future becomes clearer. That then turns into an action plan which then turns into results and success.

As a mentor, I can support students in the following:

- Resume review, interview prep, LinkedIn branding
- Career exploration, matching interests and talents with professions and industries
- Student transition from college to first professional role
- Improved communication and interpersonal skills
- Development of leadership skills, confidence, and executive presence
- Expanding a network, building connection, navigating an organization

When and where do you hold meetings with your students?

Hybrid (mix of in-person and virtual) Coffee shops, campus, libraries - whatever works best

Additional Information

What has made me successful in consulting is my understanding of technology with a strong business perspective, allowing me to translate complex technical capabilities into meaningful business outcomes. But my real strength is with building strong teams - understanding what each team member is bringing to the group and how those strengths blend together. My psychology degree was instrumental in understanding team dynamics, improve performance, and help team members with their own individual growth paths.
