Background

Job Description

My focus is on the things that matter most to any distributed network: making sure the people in it have what they need to succeed, that standards are clear and consistent, and that customers can count on reliable, high-quality service every time.

Company Description

ABC Legal Services is the nation's largest service of process provider, they operate across 40,000+ jurisdictions with a network of 10,000+ process servers.

Employment History

Stephanie is an experienced operator, change agent, and team builder. Before joining Inspectify, she was VP of Operations at TransWest. Prior to that she was the head of driver service operations at Lyft to enable the success of 800+ field team members across the U.S. and Canada.

She also founded the Seattle chapter of UpLyft Women to strengthen and empower women at Lyft by providing opportunities to develop leadership potential.

Prior to Lyft, Stephanie spent 10 years leading global learning and leadership development functions at Amazon, AAA Washington, and PACCAR. She managed Amazon’s Operations Leadership Institute guiding thousands of new employees through a world-class onboarding and assimilation experience. She was also responsible for customer experience and launch operations at Amazon’s first retail presence on college campuses.

Stephanie is drawn to mission-driven organizations that address the needs of vulnerable communities and contribute to a more sustainable planet.

Education

Stephanie earned her M.Ed. from Seattle University and has served as mentor for students of Albers School of Business for the past decade. She received a B.A. from Kent State University.

Mentoring Objectives & Scope

I expect students to take an active role to select discussion topics and show up prepared to get the most out of the mentoring experience. Students can expect to meet once per month.

Some topics I've enjoyed discussing with students include:
- operations management
- scaling and growth strategies
- LinkedIn and resume review
- leadership development
- navigating corporate culture

When and where do you hold meetings with your students?

A mixture of in-person and virtual. Onsite at my office/operations locations or virtually. I'm flexible to meet when students are available.
