Tuition and Fees

MBA SEM program is 55-56 credits. Students take 20 MBA credits, 30 sport-specific courses, and five to six credits of electives. Students take 34 credits the first year (tuition $28,822) and 21 credits the second year (tuition $16,213). The approximate total tuition is $45,035 over two years for those accepted to the Academic Year (AY) 2021-22 cohort.

Financial Aid

Graduate students must be enrolled full-time to be considered for financial assistance. There are three financial aid options available: student loans, scholarships, and graduate assistantships. Seattle University financial aid is not available for international students; however international students may apply for MBA SEM Scholarships as well as Graduate Assistantships.

Application Process

To be considered for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is your application for federal, state, and institutional funds. For further information, contact the Student Financial Services Office.

  • Seattle University resources include a national scholarship database program in the Career Engagement Office and a listing of selected other external scholarships in the Student Financial Services Office.
  • The Internet offers numerous scholarship search opportunities and resources.
  • Libraries are excellent resource centers.
  • Check with your employer for scholarship and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women's Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship for Careers in Athletics

The NCAA awards $10,000 to 13 ethnic minorities and 13 female college graduates who will be entering their initial year of graduate studies. The applicant must be seeking admission or have been accepted into a sports administration or program that will help the applicant obtain a career in intercollegiate athletics, such as athletics administrator, coach, athletic trainer, or a career that provides a direct service to intercollegiate athletics.
