Once awards have been determined, the Office of the Dean will have the responsibility of notifying the Office of Financial Services of the awards and the Dean will send a letter of notification to the students.
MBA SEM offers one-year scholarships based on financial need, current and/or prospective academic achievement. All scholarships are financial resources and must be coordinated with other types of financial aid. You must notify the Financial Aid office of any scholarships you receive which do not appear on your original award letter and report whether the scholarships are renewable, so the office can automatically include it with your subsequent awards. Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission, and credited each quarter of your first academic year directly to your student account.
To be considered for a scholarship, you must be fully admitted (without restrictions) to the MBA SEM degree program and maintain a minimum of six (6) credits of coursework each quarter during the academic year.
Should your enrollment drop below these requirements, the scholarship will be reduced by a percent equal to the reduction in credits, charged against your student account, and any balance owed to the university will be your responsibility. In every instance, it is your responsibility to pay tuition no later than the published quarterly tuition due dates established by Seattle University.
You must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average in your graduate coursework to receive and/or retain a scholarship.
For applications based on financial or merit need, file the online version of the FAFSA (for U.S. citizens) or the Affidavit of Financial Support (for foreign residents).
Albers offers various scholarships to current graduate students. Scholarships are based on financial need and academic achievement. Students need to complete and submit only one application form to be eligible.
