Mentoring Objectives & Scope

I can speak to transitioning from college to career life, finding jobs that you are interested in, securing those jobs, and professional communication. My objective is to provide students with the opportunity to talk to someone who was in their shoes only a few months ago and what transitions in mindset and learning occur post-graduation. I also deliberately made the choice to go into private accounting rather than the big four, which I am happy to discuss.

When and where do you hold meetings with your students?

At SU or Capitol Hill depending on Covid risk, or over zoom

Additional Information

I worked closely with Accounting faculty as a TA for two years and am familiar with many departments at SU due to my double major. I am happy to discuss my time at SU as a recent grad. I am also studying for the CPA and can discuss that process as well.
