In this presentation Professor Dean Peterson will reconsider the value of efficiency in the discipline of economics and discuss the ethical assumptions standing behind this important concept. His work is part of a two-year term as a Faculty Fellow with the Center for Business Ethics that will culminate in a redesign of microeconomics courses and a planned assessment of how ethics can be effectively integrated in to undergraduate economics curricula.
