SU Racial Equity Summit - Thursday, April 13th

The SU Racial Equity Summit will occur on Thursday, April 13th from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm in person on Seattle University's campus. They 2023 Racial Equity Summit Keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Imani Perry. Dr. Imani Perry is a critically-acclaimed author and the Hughes-Rogers Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University.

Dr. Perry is also the winner of the 2022 National Book Award for Nonfiction, for her most recent book, South to America: A Journey Below the Mason Dixon to Understand the Soul of a Nation. Dr. Perry’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, New York Magazine, and Harper’s, among other publications. Gov. Jay Inslee's Visit to SU - Friday, April 14th 

The Institute of Public Service and the Center for Environmental Justice and Sustainability will host Governor Jay Inslee who will speak on "How America Can Lead the World in Alleviating Global Climate Change"  on Friday April 14th, 2:00pm-3:00pm in Pigott Auditorium. Governor Inslee will be answering questions on climate policy and other sustainability-related issues and is particularly interested in hearing from students—please join us for this event!
