Biography

Dr. Michael Ng is a Washington born, Idaho raised Anglophile who is endlessly fascinated by the Roman army and conflict in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome. His primary speciality is on the army's role in ancient society (primarily the Roman Empire). In his spare time, Dr. Ng collects fountain pens, WWI memorabilia, and antique watches as well as occasional forays to other countries. His current research is on policing in antiquity, reception of the Classics in World War I, and the aftermath of empires.
