Our Alumni
Our alumni have career and life experience that can take what Communication and Media majors are learning and help them apply it outside of the classroom. From navigating post-grad life to getting that first job, alumni can be a great resource to students.
Our Alumni
Our alumni have career and life experience that can take what Communication and Media majors are learning and help them apply it outside of the classroom. Students connect with alumni through classroom visits, student clubs, and our Alumni Mentorship Program, which pairs juniors and seniors in the major with alumni to help with everything from navigating post-grad life to getting that first job.

"Seattle University's Communication and Media program helped me create a well-rounded background, working on skills like news judgement and marketing. That, alongside the writing skills I developed, helped me secure a job in news post-grad. I have been told by the person who recruited me that my work in on-campus media and doing an internship at SU helped me get into TEGNA's Producer-in-Residence program, despite not having much experience in show producing."
Morning Producer at 9NEWS (TEGNA)
