Transfer Orientation

Transfer Orientation is on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Event schedule to be released in the spring.

Transfer Orientation is a required, in-person experience for new transfer students to join us on campus to learn about essential campus resources and find your flock of new friends. Students are encouraged to have their parents, family, and supporters sign up to attend as well! This event is designed to help you be prepared to start classes in the Fall.

Students: Log into your Orientation Portal and click on the “Orientation Events” tab. There is no fee for you to attend Transfer Orientation. The cost of this program is included in the Orientation Fee that is part of your Fall Quarter bill.

Guests: After students sign up to attend Transfer Orientation, they can add up to 2 guests to their RSVP.

A Guest is anyone who is not an incoming, new Seattle University student. Family members, friends, supporters, and children are all considered guests. Please note Transfer Orientation may not be an appropriate environment for young children.
