Yes, Redhawk Roundup is a required, virtual event for all new, incoming students. It's the first official orientation event to welcome you and your family, friends, and supporters to Seattle University as members of our community! Students will get the chance to ask questions and connect with fellow Redhawks across the state, country, and globe. Students can sign themselves up and any family or friends for the event through their Orientation Portal.

Any questions or concerns can be emailed to orientation@seattleu.edu and we'll be happy to help.

Students can sign up for virtual events in their Orientation Portal. Students can sign up any of their family, friends, or supporters for some virtual events through their orientation portal as well.

Some virtual events, such as Flock Talks and online sessions hosted by some student clubs & organizations are for students only. This will be explicitly stated in the description of the events it pertains to.

Flock Talks and Student Club Socials are only for new students. Redhawk Roundup & Campus Resource Workshops are for new students and their parents, families, and supporters. When students sign up for Campus Partner Sessions, they can submit contact information to invite a guest to join. Sessions specifically for parents, families, and supporters will be listed on our Family and Supporters page in the summer.

We will record many of our virtual events taking place this summer. You can view the recordings on our YouTube channel, and we will also share them to students via email once they are posted.
