Dean's Scholarship for Graduate Students (2022-23)

Award Amounts: $1,200-$7,200

The Dean’s Scholarship provides financial support to deserving new Seattle University students entering a graduate level program. To be eligible for an award, students must enroll in a full-time program (6+ credits/quarter) and be an incoming student not currently enrolled at Seattle University.

The College of Science and Engineering offers two categories of awards: guaranteed merit awards based on an applicant’s GPA, and selected merit awards based on a holistic evaluation of an application.

Guaranteed Merit Awards: All students applying to a graduate level degree program with a 3.50+ GPA as evaluated by Seattle University will receive a minimum $2,400 scholarship, awarded over three quarters. This award may increase depending on program and individual applications and will be issued with an offer letter.

Selected Merit Awards: All applicants will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for awards. Students evaluated below a 3.50 GPA remain eligible for scholarship consideration based on other factors in their application.

Students are automatically evaluated for scholarships based on their submitted application materials; there is no separate scholarship application process. International applicants are eligible for awards.
