Motivational Interviewing: An Overview for Health Care Professionals
In this one-hour webinar, Dr. Jonnae Tillman, DNP, PMHNP-BC, will cover the core concepts of Motivational Interviewing, including Spirit, Skills and Change Talk, as well as demonstrate how to evoke Change Talk with Open-Ended Questions. After the presentation, participants will be able to 1) Recognize 2 barriers created in healthcare conversations with patients; 2) Identify 1 example of Change Talk in a case-example; 3) Demonstrate 3 examples of Open-Ended Questions to evoke Change Talk.
