In on-campus event, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion will celebrate 60 years since Martin Luther King was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and Congress passed the Civil Rights Act.

Diverse and underrepresented minority student populations continue to grow as does the focus on computer science and engineering.

From holding a campus-wide Racial Equity Summit to elevating intersectional voices and working to increase and retain BIPOC faculty/staff, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion is doubling down on its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Rather than despairing about the future of technologies like AI, the first Red Talk of the academic year encourages people—especially those in the humanities and social sciences—to engage.
