The fall term is underway at Cornish College of the Arts.

While Seattle University’s Capitol Hill campus doesn’t open for fall quarter until later this month (September 23, to be exact), classes are underway at Cornish College of the Arts, which welcomed new and returning students on September 8.

Students expressed excitement and energetic enthusiasm as they settle into their classes and spend time at popular hangout spots at the South Lake Union campus.

Here is what they are saying:

“The pool table on the 20th floor of the Cornish Commons is my favorite place on campus!”
—Ethan, a first-year theater student

“I am most excited for making music with my friends this school year.”
—Calvin, a second-year music student

“There's nothing like the first week back from summer. The energy in the community is inspiring—everyone is hungry and ready to work.”
—Carly Cipriano, a theater alum (’20) and current Academic Program Coordinator for Cornish Theater and Dance

“My favorite memory from Welcome Week was the tower garden in the Cornish Commons!”
—Oakley, third-year art student

“I am most excited for Drag Club this year and all of the performances.”
—Lindsey, fourth-year Illustration student
