Dr. Char Brecevic received her Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Notre Dame. Her work focuses primarily on the role of imagination in human behavior, especially as it relates to health-related decision-making and communication. Holding a graduate minor in Gender Studies, she is also interested in feminist philosophy, with a particular emphasis on its interconnections with environmentalism. Before entering the academic profession, she received her bachelor's degrees in philosophy and biochemistry at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and worked as an analytical chemist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) studying the composition of various biofuel materials.
