Designed for Sustainability

Our Jesuit values mean we’ve designed our campus spaces with an environmental justice mindset. Sustainability is core to who we are and we are incredibly committed to taking action on every level.

On the First Hill campus, we have the first-in-the-nation university gardens that are pesticide free, designed by celebrity master gardener Ciscoe Morris. Seattle University was the first university in the Pacific Northwest to earn the title of Fair Trade Designated University.
