CEIE Leadership

The CEIE Advisory Council is a long-standing community of non-profit and private industry leaders, faculty, students, alumni and staff. These leaders assist the CEIE Leadership Team in strategic discernment for the communities we serve, in alignment with the SU Strategic Directions and Mission Priority Examen. CEIE Fellows include Faculty, Staff, and Community Leaders, who provide leadership through a specific portfolio or project. Fellows’ insights are shared with the university at lunches or other venues within the same academic year. Portfolios and projects range from network building to participating in a national conference on ‘covenantal pluralism’ (2024) that advance CEIE’s leadership in the religious and cultural richness of our time.

CEIE, born from a tradition of leadership in diverse ecumenical, interreligious, and cultural contexts at Seattle University's School of Theology and Ministry (STM), continues its mission after STM closed in 2023. Today, STM Alumni Ambassadors at CEIE work with us to provide innovative leadership, advancing Seattle University's mission in the Pacific Northwest, the country, and the world.
