Personal Bio

Vance Larsen is an assistant teaching professor for Business Statistics and Quantitative Methods and Applications, while finishing his PhD at the University of Washington, Evans School. He earned a Master of Science in Consumer Behavior at Purdue University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Gonzaga University, with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Economics and a minor in History. Vance's research interests include household financial decision making, such as retirement decision making and the use of fringe banking products and services. Prior to joining the Albers School, Vance was a Teaching Assistant and lead instructor at the University of Washington, Evans School, for the following courses:
