In May, social work faculty members Dr. Amelia Seraphia Derr and Dr. Hye-Kyung Kang presented papers at the European Social Work Conference in Prague, Czech Republic. The conference was held by the International Federation of Social Workers and the Society of Social Workers of the Czech Republic.

Social Work Department Chair, MSW Program Director, and Professor Dr. Hye-Kyung Kang presented "Social Justice-focused Mental Health Practice: An Integrative Model for Clinical Social Work," a jury-selected paper.

BSW Program Director and Associate Social Work Professor Dr. Amelia Seraphia Derr presented "Educating for Resilience: Sustaining Social Workers for Career Longevity."
