Biography

Christine Bateman has been passionate about the arts since writing her first musical number, "Goodbye, McDonaldland®, Goodbye," as a passionate preschooler.

Alas, she sidelined her composing career and became a marketing change agent who empowers artists and arts businesses to cultivate highly targeted, deeply authentic, revenue-generating relationships with their customers and communities.

She recently served as VP Marketing at Cornish College of the Arts, where she led a comprehensive re-brand in less than six months; and currently serves as Senior Consultant with Scandiuzzi Krebs, a start-up strategy firm for the arts.

With 20 years’ experience—and particular expertise in digital marketing, storytelling, and publicity—Christine has transformed revenue strategies for Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Intiman Theatre, CD Forum for Arts & Ideas, Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, JDRF, Mystic Seaport, Jinkx Monsoon, and more.

Christine holds an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, and a BA in Communications from Valparaiso University; she is a proud Bellevutian who happily drives a minivan filled with three kids and a dog named Errol Flynn. In her fleeting spare time, Christine volunteers with the Bellevue School District and Girls Scouts of Western Washington.
