Apply

We are now accepting Fall 2024 applications!

NO application fees for new applications!

Applications for non-matriculated students are accepted quarterly.

Note: Students interested in a joint MACJ/JD degree are required to be admitted separately to both the School of Law and the Criminal Justice Department in the College of Arts and Sciences. Consult the Graduate Bulletin for the specific admissions requirements for each school. Current students interested in the joint degree option must apply for the other program during the fall term of their first year of study.

Applications for the College of Arts and Sciences' graduate programs are available online.

Additional application information required for the Masters in Criminal Justice Program.

  • Selected candidates contacted for interview with MACJ faculty

TO APPLY contact Seattle University Graduate Admissions.

*Please note: There has been some confusion regarding the general graduate program application pertaining to the recommendations requirement.  Please ignore the "Recommendation Forms."  The MACJ program application requires three standard letters of recommendation that should be submitted to the Office of Graduate Admission.  If you have additional questions on this matter, please contact Seattle University Graduate Admissions.*

For alumni of our undergraduate program who are looking to continue on with our MACJ program or Certificate in Crime Analysis, only one letter of recommendation is required. Please note, the author of the letter CANNOT be a member of the Department of Criminal Justice at Seattle University. Additionally, transcripts from SU must still be ordered and submitted as part of the application process.
