Christine Bateman, MFA

MFA, Arts Leadership

Adjunct Faculty

Building/Room: JEFF 401

Christine Bateman has been passionate about the arts since writing her first musical number, "Goodbye, McDonaldland®, Goodbye," as a passionate preschooler.

With her career as a composer sidelined, Christine now dedicates herself to helping artists and nonprofits cultivate authentic, engaging relationships with their many constituents - fans, funders, media, and more - by promoting their work, advancing their mission, and serving their community. Previous employers and clients include Intiman Theatre, Seattle Arts & Lectures, Jinkx Monsoon, Mystic Seaport, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Christine holds an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, and a BA in Communications from Valparaiso University; she is a proud Bellevutian who happily drives a minivan filled with three kids and a dog named Errol Flynn. In her fleeting spare time, Christine volunteers with the Bellevue School District and Girls Scouts of Western Washington.
