Get to know Seattle University’s 23rd president, Maura Mast, PhD.
In a message to the SU community, President Maura B. Mast expresses gratitude for the warm welcome she has received and her excitement about joining the university at a time of “extraordinary momentum,” noting, “Seattle University has an important role to play in educating and forming principled leaders in service of the common good.”
About the President
Dr. Maura B. Mast was named the 23rd President of Seattle University on June 25, 2026, following a unanimous vote by the university’s Board of Trustees.
