ORCA Pass for Students

NOTICE: ORCA Lift and Regular ORCA fares experienced a fare change 7/1/18. Please verify the cost of your transit trip. To learn more, please visit the King County Metro site and the Sound Transit site.

Seattle University has partnered with King County Metro's ORCA LIFT program. Seattle University also offers subsidized Non-Lift Cards for purchase. View program information here. If you have a parking permit, an ORCA LIFT subsidy cannot be processed. Students are eligible for only one Seattle University sponsored parking or subsidized transportation product at a time. Public Safety can not provide a subsidized transportation product (LIFT subsidy) and a term-length parking permit to the same student in the same term.

If you do not qualify for ORCA Lift, the Transportation and Parking Services Department is selling subsidized Non Lift ORCA cards for purchase for the term. You must be a currently enrolled student to be eligible to purchase a subsidized card. Students are eligible for only one Seattle University sponsored parking or subsidized transportation product at a time. Public Safety can not provide a subsidized transportation product (subsidized Puget Pass or subsidized walk-on Ferry pass) and a term-length parking permit to the same student in the same term. Each Student is only allowed one active Seattle University Orca Card at any time.
