BSN Transfer Program of Study 2018-2019

Curriculum Notes

  • Math, psychology, and nutrition coursework must be completed within 10 years of anticipated program start date.
  • Science and statistics coursework must be completed within 5 years of anticipated program start date.
  • Seven of the 10 prerequisite courses including at least one of the following three must be completed by the application deadline: A&P I, A&P II, or microbiology.
  • Either statistics or college algebra for business (pre-calculus) course must be completed by the application deadline.
  • Students must earn a C (2.0) or better in all nursing and prerequisite courses.
  • Post-Baccalaureate students are waived from UCOR 2500 and UCOR 3400.
  • Students are expected to be available the first day of the quarter through the last day of finals week.
    All clinical placements will be made by the undergraduate clinical placement team.

Application Requirements 

  • Official transcripts from each college, university, or professional school attended.
  • Official AP scores from College Board, and CLEP exam results, as applicable.

The example below assumed that you enter SU with junior standing (at least 90 credits), have earned a transferable associate of arts or bachelor’s degree and have successfully completed the following courses (or approved equivalents): 

  • MATH 1010 or higher
