Projects Day, a celebration of Seattle University engineering, computer science and data science students creativity and problem solving, will take place tomorrow, June 2.

What: Seattle University Projects Day

When: 12:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, June 2

Where: Seattle University, Sullivan Hall

In its 36th year, Projects Day is an annual event organized by the Project Center of SU's College of Science and Engineering. Some of this year's partners include:

  • Amazon
  • Costco
  • Boeing
  • F5 Networks
  • Sound Transit
  • Seattle City Light
  • Snohomish County
  • Skagit County Parks and Recreation

"Projects Day is a celebration of the accomplishments of our seniors and graduate students," explains College of Science and Engineering Dean Amit Shukla. "We are grateful to the industry sponsors and to our faculty advisors who have mentored the students throughout the past year. We are educating a generation of leaders in STEM who are ready to solve grand challenges with innovation and make an impact throughout the Puget Sound region and beyond."

Seattle University students provide partners with a fresh perspective through the Project Center, while the opportunity to engage with students and support their growth is a positive experience for partners and transformative for students.

As in years past, many items of interest will be on campus for attendees and students to consider, including a Kenworth truck, a newly designed and built steel bridge and several prototypes from mechanical, electrical and computer engineering teams, like biomedical devices, autonomous electric vehicle technology and health and wellness technology.
