SU Account & Password

A SeattleU account ( is used to access university computers, email and systems. All students, faculty and staff are provided with an SU account. 


To access university systems and accounts, you will need to create a password. Your password never expires. All SU passwords must match the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 12 characters
  • Must be different than the last 6 passwords used

Resetting Your Password

Existing Seattle University students, faculty and staff can reset their account passwords at: or by calling the Service Desk at (206) 296-5571.

Note: Please have your SU ID # readily available when you call the Service Desk.
