Seattle University is making a historic investment in student access and opportunity through the Seattle University Endowed Scholarship Challenge.

As part of the university’s comprehensive campaign, we are working to raise $100 million for endowed student scholarships. With $20 million in matching funds available, your commitment can have an even greater impact. For every $1 committed to an eligible endowed scholarship, Seattle University will invest an additional $0.50.

Why Endowed Scholarships Matter

An endowed scholarship creates a permanent source of support for Seattle University students. Your gift is invested, with a portion of the earnings awarded annually to expand access, reduce financial barriers and give students greater freedom to focus on their education, engage in the Seattle University community and prepare for what comes next.

Scholarship Challenge Details

• 50% match on eligible commitments
• $100,000 minimum commitment
• New and existing scholarship endowments are eligible
• Multi-year pledges are available
• Undergraduate scholarships receive priority consideration
• Matching funds are awarded on a first-committed basis until fully allocated
