Cellist Rose Bellini is an adventurous musician accomplished in traditional, experimental, and interdisciplinary performance, performing with ensembles, dance companies, and bands across the country.

Biography

Rose has performed in venues ranging from neighborhood bars to Carnegie Hall, appearing with the International Contemporary Ensemble, Wordless Music Orchestra, Ensemble Signal, and Orchestra of St. Luke's, alongside folk singers, rock bands, and studio musicians. Her live recording of Steve Reich's Cello Counterpoint has been regularly highlighted by NPR's Performance Today.

Based in Seattle, Rose is founder of the Raven Quartet and performs regularly with the Seattle Chamber Orchestra, Seattle Modern Orchestra, and Inverted Space Ensemble, as well as with the band Clouds of the West, for which she is also a songwriter and arranger, and the bands tov and Robert Deeble & One Small Orchestra.
