Megan Kush

Associate Director of Pastoral Care

Biography

Megan Kush joined the Campus Ministry team in the summer of 2018. As an undergraduate college student, she was immersed in settings that engaged the intersection of faith and social justice, ultimately leading her to the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and onto a path of accompanying others on their own faith journey. Her passion for ministry grew through her work with youth and young adults in diverse parish settings and in her role as a hospital chaplain. Megan is dedicated to providing care and companionship for those experiencing grief and loss, transitions and life adjustments, self-exploration, ritual and prayer, and all the beautiful and nuanced ways of being human. Megan is grateful to work at Seattle U, seeking to listen to and accompany students during the significant, as well as daily moments, of their lives.

Born and raised in Southern California, Megan also lived in Costa Rica, Mexico, Texas, Massachusetts, the Bay Area, and now the beautiful, Pacific Northwest! Megan finds delight and renewal through walks by the water, puzzling, attempting new recipes, journaling, making music, and salsa dancing.
