Josefina Valenzuela Cerda’s teaching relates to her practical experience in Film and Media production in different countries and scales, and her passion for telling stories for a diverse array of platforms. With a degree in Audiovisual Directing and an MFA in Writing for Screen and Stage with a concentration in Interactive Media, Josefina teaches courses about the basics of writing for film, TV, and how to use certain genres to tell stories, as well as writing and producing for Virtual Reality. Her research aims towards developing fantastical stories for traditional flat and 360 interactive screens, immersive stage and visual print, focusing on the unexplored world and complexities of the heroine's journey.
