The minor in nonprofit and public administration welcomes students interested in pursuing careers working in the nonprofit sector, local, state or federal government. As a nonprofit and public administration minor, you must complete 18 semester/30 quarter credits with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0.

The nonprofit and public administration minor is complementary to many majors. If you are interested in pursuing the minor, we encourage you to meet with your adviser to discuss your interests and career goals and to plan your course of study.

Our low student-faculty ratio allows you to work closely with professors who are deeply engaged with the nonprofit community and who bring practical, real-world applications into the classroom. Additionally, the coursework is intentionally and deeply community-engaged, providing direct access to hands-on learning.
