Mentorship Program Going Strong

The Albers Mentor Program, coordinated by the Albers Placement Center, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Through mentorships, graduate-level and senior undergraduate business students learn from executives from leading Puget Sound businesses and organizations. The mentors will be honored at an anniversary celebration March 16.

Music for Haiti

Seattle University's Chorale, Chamber and Consort singers perform at the Chapel of St. Ignatius for a Lenten Prayer Concert that also served as a way to remember those who were impacted by the earthquake in Haiti. The evening provided an opportunity to reflect on the lives and work of individuals like Molly Hightower, a volunteer with the Friends of the Orphans, who lost her life in the earthquake. | Feature archive

Ecumenical Discourse

Rev. Flora Wilson Bridges of the School of Theology and Ministry recently gave a talk on peacemaking and reconciliation efforts between Christians, Muslims and Jews. An associate professor at STM, Wilson Bridges is also the Spehar-Halligan Professor of Ecumenical Collaboration in Inter-Religious Dialogue.

Green is Theater Gold

Green is Theater Gold

Seattle University Fine Arts presents Writer 1272, a truly unique production of the greenSquat program, which brings eco-conscious and sustainable practices to the theater world. Writer 1272, written and directed by local playwright Vincent Delaney, will employ the greenSquat philosophy as the play will “squat” on an existing set design from a recent SU production. The show opens March 4, with six performances through March 13 at the Lee Center for the Arts.
