The team is the fourth seed in this year’s Western Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament.

Seattle University men's basketball heads to Las Vegas for the 2024 Hercules Tires Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Basketball Tournament. The Redhawks have earned a first-round bye and, for the second consecutive year, clinched the fourth seed in the tournament.

The team tips off Wednesday, March 13 at the Orleans Arena with a pair of first-round games. SU will open play on Thursday, March 14 at 6 p.m. against the winner of No. 5 Utah Valley versus No. 8 California Baptist. A win in the quarterfinals would advance the Redhawks to the semifinals against No. 1 Grand Canyon on Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m.

The Redhawks concluded the regular season with an 18-13 overall record and 11-9 WAC mark, good for a tie for fourth in the conference standings. The team went a combined 3-1 against UVU and CBU this season, splitting the home-and-home series with the Wolverines and sweeping a pair of games against the Lancers.
