TODAY: Seattle University Commencement to feature speakers Doug Baldin and Viet Thanh Nguyen

Former Seattle Seahawk Doug Baldwin Jr. will serve as undergraduate commencement speaker and University of Southern California Professor Viet Thanh Nguyen, PhD, will speak at the graduate ceremony today, June 12 at Climate Pledge Arena. Both will receive Honorary Doctorates.

Speaking on behalf of their graduating classes will be valedictorians Supreet Sandhu (undergraduate) and Marjan Atashkhayer Didra (graduate).

The undergraduate ceremony at 11 a.m. will include about 1,000 graduates and the graduate ceremony at 5 p.m. approximately 800.
