Provost Shane P. Martin today announced the 2019-2020 recipients of the President’s Award, Provost’s Award and Provost’s Award for Graduate Student Excellence. Traditionally given at Commencement, the awards are a tribute to the dedication and commitment these students have shown in the pursuit of academic excellence throughout their Seattle University career.
President’s Award
Given to a graduating senior who entered Seattle University as a first-time freshman and has maintained the highest Seattle University grade point average throughout the undergraduate degree.
Camille Zaug, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Bachelor of Arts in Physics, minor in Chinese, Summa Cum Laude
Provost’s Award
Given to a graduating senior who entered Seattle University as a transfer student from another college or university and has maintained the highest Seattle University grade point average throughout the undergraduate degree.
Stephanie Merwin, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude
Provost’s Award for Graduate Student Excellence
Given to a Seattle University graduate student who has maintained the highest grade point average throughout their program and also demonstrated outstanding leadership.
