Two all-time tennis greats, Tom Gorman, '68 and Janet Hopps-Adkisson, '56 (pictured, far left), were honored at the fifth annual Red Tie Celebration on June 3. In addition, all previous Red Tie Celebration honorees were in attendance including Jim Whittaker, '60, Elgin Baylor, '58, Johnny O'Brien, '53, Pat Lesser-Harbottle, '56 and Orrin Vincent, '67. The late Eddie O'Brien, '53, was represented by his wife, Terry. The annual fundraising event brought in more than $450,000 in proceeds to benefit Seattle U’s student-athletes.
