Deanne Liu (she/her)

Deanne

Associate Director

Building/Room: PAVL 180

Areas of Leadership: Veteran and Military-Connected Students. Commuter Students. Transfer Students. HUB Desk.

Deanne was born in the Philippines and raised in the Bay Area, having received her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies at Westmont College in Santa Barbara. She is also a proud alumna of the Student Development Administration Graduate Program here at Seattle U. She is passionate about connecting with others and building community, which is why her background leans heavily in Intercultural Programs, Residence Life, and served her graduate assistantship in Commuter and Transfer Student Services (now known as the MOSAIC Center)! Finding areas and pockets where all students can belong and thrive, is what fuels her work, and she is so grateful to work in a department that offers these pockets of joy around campus. When she is not working, you might find her walking around campus (slowly) with 9 year and 12 week old mini-dachshunds Rolo and Twix, making and eating dumplings, or sampling various types of Boba or other desserts!
